Buckin' Wild Ranch
Our Story
Ashley and Nick have been immersed in the western way of life since they were young.
Nick at a young age participated in rodeo including Little Britches, Junior High, High School, and College Rodeo. He tried every rodeo event except for bareback riding. In his 20s he concentrated more on saddle bronc riding but now has focused on team roping.
Ashley was only 3 days old when she sat on her first horse. She participated in 4-H showing goats, horses, and cattle along with many other farm animals. She ran barrels and poles in 4-H rodeos when time allowed. Her grandparents owned a sale barn (Kramer's Livestock Auction) and a lot of time was spend there.
Ashley and Nick first met at Kramer's and it was very much like the song Sold by John Michael Montgomery. Their mutual love for sales and horses drew them to each other. From the love of sales they started their business to match broke horses with prospective buyers. When the opportunity arose for new tack at Kramer's they jumped at the chance to expand their business. They now have a tack shack at their place that customers can come see their tack in person. They also take their tack on the road to area sales, rodeos and jackpots.
Their business again expanded when they added an Appaloosa stud to their breeding program. In 2025 they will have several foals by A Dash for Perks.
Ashley, Nick, and Quincy will be welcoming a baby girl to add to their family in October 2024!
